Guided tours of the Munot take place regularly, and numerous events, such as the Munot Children’s Festival or the traditional Munotball, are held on the battlements of the fortress.

The Bergkirche St. Moritz, with origins dating back to 1491, rises impressively above the well-known wine cultivation region and village of Hallau. Built in late Gothic style and situated on a promontory of the Hallauerberg, the church offers its visitors an incredible view over the expanses of the Blauburgunderland.

Experience the impressive power of nature at the Rhine Falls – Europe’s largest waterfall. The main attraction of Schaffhausen offers a spectacular natural wonder which cannot be missed.

The Kesslerloch in Thayngen brings you on a journey into the past. What once served as a meeting place for groups of hunters is now a popular excursion destination. The prehistoric cave gives fascinating insights into the lives of our ancestors, and lets its visitors experience history up close.

About one kilometer west of Schleitheim, the small Roman town of Iuliomagus once stood. Today, the impressive ruins of the thermal baths are a reminder of the ancient Roman bathing culture. This imposing archeological complex, discovered in 1974, is now preserved in a modern museum open to the public.
